The sight of Kantera wandering around the Nameless Town isn't too uncommon. Neither is him mumbling to himself.

"I swear that I just had it yesterday, where could I possibly have dropped it...?"

He's genuinely concerned about this. More so than when he drops the Dragon Compass, perhaps.

(It would be bad if someone else picked it up. He'd never live it down.)

[ Tabasa's out and about when he sees Kantera pacing, mumbling to himself and seemingly lost in thought.

...He almost turns the other way, because he's seen Kantera do this enough times to guess it's because he's lost something. Again. But he knows that if he just ignored him, he'd feel bad about it later. So he signs in resignation and approaches the other. ] Hey, doctor Kantera. What's up?

[Tabasa is not the worst person to show up right now.]

Oh, Tabasa. I've... lost something. Not something terribly important...

[If it was the Dragon Compass, he'd have a different kind of worry going on right now.]

But I'd like to retrieve it as soon as possible, nonetheless.

Oh? [ If it's not important, it's probably not the Dragon Compass then. That's something to be relieved about, but Tabasa can't think of anything else Kantera could be worried about enough to want to find asap off the top of his head. ]

So what exactly did you lose? ...I can try and help you find it, since I'm here and all. [ Though for some reason, something tells him he might regret it. ]

A card. ...Well, but you'd need more details than that to find it, wouldn't you?

[Unfortunately, he'll have to be more forthcoming than he would like.]

'Tis one of the cards one gets for frequently shopping at a particular store. I have a number of points on it.

Oh, so like a loyalty card?

[ He doesn't know of any particular shop Kantera could frequent enough to get one of those, but he supposes it's not too unusual. ]

Man that's...gonna be a doozy to find. Any ideas as to where you might've dropped it?

If it isn't here, then it's likely to be in Darcover Town. Perhaps I dropped it after using it last.

It's a shop in Darcover, then?

[ The only one that comes to mind first is the florist's, but last time he checked they didn't offer loyalty cards...Then again, he doesn't visit the town often. Too gloomy. ]

Guess there's only one way to find out if you dropped it there. Let's go.

[ Yep, Darcover is still as gloomy as ever. And dark, because duh. Hopefully that's not going to hinder in their search.

And now for the Million Dollar Question. ] Where's that store you mentioned again?

Over there, tucked in the corner.

[Away from the hustle and bustle, or as hustley-bustley as Darcover Town gets, there is a store. A sign says 'Lovers' Roses'.

They don't sell flowers.]

[ There was indeed a store tucked away in the corner-- somehow, he doesn't remember ever seeing it until now. Since when did Darcover have another florist's?

As they get closer though, the rose motifs on the sign...suddenly...look less like mere rose motifs and more like...rose adorned handcuffs? Haha, wow! What a weird flower store!!

*narrator voice* but it wasn't a flower store at all ]

Uh... [ Uh!!! ] A-Are you sure this is the right one?

Certainly - I wouldn't mistake it for any other.

[How many adult toy stores are in Darcover Town, probably just one.

Kantera does a cursory inspection of the outside of the shop, but there doesn't seem to be anything out here...]

[ Tabasa is......he's actually not entirely sure what he's feeling right now. ] Right. Sure, okay.

[ He tries his best not to look at, uh, everything behind the window displays. He doesn't see anything outside of the shop either, but surely Kantera isn't going to make them go in, right? Right??? ]

It does not appear to be outside. We'll have to enter.

[ Tabasa might feel like crying. But just a little bit. On the inside.

Chickening out right now would probably be more embarrassing than just sucking it up though, so he submits to his fate. ]

[The inside looks like most Darcover shops - it's dark, and decorated with flower designs on the walls, and sells things like handcuffs and vibrators.

Maybe that last part isn't like most Darcover shops.

Kantera stops by the cashier first.]

Excuse me, but did anyone find a dropped membership card yesterday...?

[ Hey, maybe the cashier found Kantera's card and is going to give it to him right now. Then they'll be able to leave within the next 2 minutes, and Tabasa can pretend none of this happened.

Except the employee eventually tells them they don't have it. ]

Uh. So where should we look now.

It's still possible it's on the floor somewhere and no one picked it up...

[Tabasa's life is hard.]

Sure...I'll try, at least.

[ Tabasa's life is hard, but maybe if he keeps his eyes on the ground he won't need to look anywhere else.

The shop isn't that big though, and a short but thorough inspection of its floor yields...nothing. If his face wasn't red before, it is now at the thought of having to search on the tables full of-- whatever stuff this store had on sale. ]

A-Any luck on your side yet?

None. [A deep sigh.] If I were to have to return home without finding it, that would truly be a shame... The tables, then.

[The tables covered in wares. Handcuffs, blindfolds, vibrators... is that a flogger? All kinds of things Tabasa doesn't want to look at and Kantera is glancing over without so much as a blush.
