Tarot post mark 10.
Has it truly been so long since I did tarot readings for all of you? How tragic.
[A deck is on the table in front of her.]
Simply focus on your question while shuffling the deck, and inform me of your question when you return the deck to me. Then I can read your fortune.
[Any game, any character will be read with a real shuffling of a real Tarot deck!]

...is the reaction Valmont would have had a few days ago, but, well. Hanging out with time travelers and then almost getting killed by different time travelers does sort of tend to make a believer out of you. And while he now knows roughly what the future has in store for him, the how is a little fuzzier. It couldn't hurt to get some advice, could it? ]
You there.

Death. A drastic change, transition from one phase to another, unstoppable forces.
The Hierophant. Identification with a group, education, taking an orthodox approach.
The Sun. Enlightenment, achieving greatness, having self-assurance.
My, my, so many important cards... In this case I would suggest two things - that working with a group is often the key to success, and that having confidence in yourself is the key to not failing. I think you will know success when you see it - there is at least one major change in your future, whether good or bad.

[ You'll have to forgive the kid, Eater. He's been half-listening to the rest of the reading, and honestly it's all sort of making a weird sense to him (confidence, yes, he can totally do that), but... he's a little stuck on that first card. ]
That's not meant to be my death, surely? It's someone else's... isn't it?
[ Chan's, preferably. Any Chan. He's not picky. ]

[She hates having to clarify this.]
