[Now, Fiddleford is not usually the superstitious sort, but after some of the things he's seen in his life he can begrudgingly admit that cards that can accurately predict the future are practically mundane next to some of the things he's seen (and not been able to unsee).

That and he's curious. This question is an important one. He knows his future -- or at least he knows the future that Wendy told him and Ford confirmed.]

Am I makin' the right choice, not goin' back?

It is always a struggle, is it not? To return home, or to keep what you've found in this new place. Going home makes you a different person than the person who stays here.
