It has been some time since I read Tarot, and it seems like a pleasant way to end the year, doesn't it?

[A deck is on the table in front of her.]

Simply focus on your question while shuffling the deck, and inform me of your question when you return the deck to me. Then I can read your fortune.

[Any game, any character will be read with a real shuffling of a real Tarot deck!]

Ten of Swords. Bottoming out, victim mentality, martyrdom. Being in the worst possible place, or feeling like it.

King of Swords. A man who is intelligent, analytical, and ethical.

The Magician. Action, conscious awareness, and power. Doing what needs to be done.

...When you've bottomed out, there is nowhere to go but up, or so it goes. Even if it seems you've reached the worst possible place, keep going, and you may be able to pull yourself back up again. The worst thing you can do is to give up.

Yeah, we're at about that point in a traditional RPG plot, probably. I expected this much.
