It has been some time since I read Tarot, and it seems like a pleasant way to end the year, doesn't it?

[A deck is on the table in front of her.]

Simply focus on your question while shuffling the deck, and inform me of your question when you return the deck to me. Then I can read your fortune.

The Star. Hope, inspiration, and serenity.

Ten of Wands. Overextending, burdens. Trying to do too much.

Five of Wands. Disagreement, competition, petty hassles.

Hmmmm... [She takes a second.] While the Wands suggest it may be a bad year for you... You don't seem to let much of anything ruffle you, do you? That can be a good quality, but it also will probably get someone to punch your smug face in.

Oh, someone has. They had a nasty shock at what was beneath my mask.

Then I do hope someone made of stronger stuff punches you again.

It's not a matter of strength so much as my face is quite shocking. Unless, you know, seeing skin and muscle ripped away to reveal bone is something one is used to.
