Tarot post mark 9.
It has been some time since I read Tarot, and it seems like a pleasant way to end the year, doesn't it?
[A deck is on the table in front of her.]
Simply focus on your question while shuffling the deck, and inform me of your question when you return the deck to me. Then I can read your fortune.
[Any game, any character will be read with a real shuffling of a real Tarot deck!]

He gingerly takes the deck between his long fingers with slitted eyes and shuffles them sloppily, thinking of how to phrase the question. He doesn't need to ask whether or not he will become the best cyclist - no matter what fate has in store for him or what fortune tells him, he will make it so. So maybe staying general will do, here.]
Alright. Then... [He hands the deck back to her, shuffled.] Tell me what my future holds.
[Or whatever tarot has to say about it. It's something he'll prove wrong, or it's something that conveniently agrees with him, he thinks.]

Ace of Cups. Emotions, intimacy, and intuition.
Four of Cups. Self-absorption and apathy.
The Moon. Fear, illusion, and confusion. Losing direction.
Hm... The Ace and the Four of Cups do seem to be at odds, when the Ace can stand for forming relationships and the Four shows the relative safety of thinking only about yourself, but the Moon's placement suggests both are true. It's frightening, learning to care about other people's existence, isn't it? Especially if you have been determined not to care in the past.
