The year is 2222, and you live in a bustling city in Japan by the sea. There are many different neighborhoods, from strictly urban areas, to more traditional Japanese neighborhoods, to areas full of cafes for tired businessmen, to the rougher part of town, to the beachside properties. In general, the city seems peaceful, but lively.

The latest rage is BitPhones - a must-have for anyone. Not only do they have as many apps as you could possibly want from a smartphone, and come in all kinds of customizable shapes and sizes, but they contain things like your ID and other essential data. All BitPhones are connected by the Master Program, an essentially indecipherable program maintained by some guy living in his apartment with his shut-in cousin.

But that's probably not very important.

[It was a subject out of nowhere, but he knew what Nanashi was implying there. He's still at it to cure him of his dog fear huh.... He sighs for a moment, looking at the floor as if he too was a dog beaten on the roadside.]

How about you drop the dog thing... It's like... In my DNA or somethin' by now...

I don't see whats so terrible about living a... uh... happy dogless life. I'm chill as I am. People can live without meat and junk, as long as it's not somethin like water I don't see what the deal is?

You don't know, so we have to at least get you to a point where you could be rescued by a dog! Otherwise you'll live to regret it or worse!

[A sigh of resignation. Might as well give it up. As long as Nanashi's around he just wont stop until Enri's fear of dogs is gone. But does he really have to be put in a dangerous situation over this... He really should have stayed home today.]

Okay... But how am I gonna get in danger and need a dog to rescue me.... We need a dog AND something to put me in danger my bro.

[Nanashi'd probably get Potete but how exactly is Enri going to encounter any sort of danger to require Potete to save him? The Pom...Inu... thing probably wouldn't even care.]

The dog is the easy part. As for danger, hm... I know some jerk hackers, but I don't know if viruses are enough danger for this!

Thats... Those people that use virus' to mind control people, right. I'd... rather not get mind controlled, but you're right. It is really dangerous... And I do like having my own mind to myself...

[Hey, that actually brought an idea to Enri. Can't Nanashi implant ideas into peoples heads? He did it with Aki... Why doesn't he just do that instead of trying to get Enri in danger to have a dog save him? This guys so weird...]

[Nanashi is definitely so weird. And he's not sure he can change a whole pattern of thoughts from 'dogs are scary' to 'I like dogs' and have it stick.]

Well, if we're not doing viruses, what else is really scary for you?

My other fears? Well... I'm not too good in the dark, and heights ain't my thing. I'm also really afraid of being unable to use my hands. Any of those give any ideas?

[Even weirder than Nanashi, though, is that Enri's helping out with finding something that'll scare him. It must be spreading.]

I'm a bit afraid she might ram me into things to get me back for before... but it's a good idea as anything...

[That and also, it'll help calm Nanashi down about the dog fear thing. Hopefully for a week this time. And who knows. Maybe it actually will cure him. ... Nah.]
