The year is 2222, and you live in a bustling city in Japan by the sea. There are many different neighborhoods, from strictly urban areas, to more traditional Japanese neighborhoods, to areas full of cafes for tired businessmen, to the rougher part of town, to the beachside properties. In general, the city seems peaceful, but lively.
The latest rage is BitPhones - a must-have for anyone. Not only do they have as many apps as you could possibly want from a smartphone, and come in all kinds of customizable shapes and sizes, but they contain things like your ID and other essential data. All BitPhones are connected by the Master Program, an essentially indecipherable program maintained by some guy living in his apartment with his shut-in cousin.
But that's probably not very important.

[He had been seeing the teenager more and more often around Fairytale Forest, but wouldn't it be much more fun to hang out at home! They could share cute animal videos and eat junk food! Heat was already bouncing just at the thought of it, unable to contain his excitement even before getting a response.]

[Okay, if Heat was being honest, he'd never had a sleepover, either. He'd only ever really been friends with Saga and Izu (pending on whether the latter was really his friend, whoops), and his parents were kinda weird about girls being over. He didn't understand it, but Nanashi would be okay, yeah!]
We could even go th'beach and watch the stars! An', and! Watch movies, an' share cute videos!
[Just thinking about it was exciting to the max! They'd have to figure out all the little details, of course, and checking out the beach under the stars wouldn't be an option if Nanashi wanted to do it at his place.]

[ Watching movies and sharing their personal collection of animal video's sounded great too! It'd probably be better if they did the sleepover at Heats for more reasons than seeing the stars, with how Misane was living with him and Mikado had the possibility of popping in at anytime.. Didn't seem to give them enough room for their own bonding times! Or enough room to make a pillow fort! With that train a ping comes in from his bitphones, prompting that he'd gotten a message]
Mikado just Muttered me saying it's cool if I stay over as long as I pick up some jammies on the way over! ...Nice! I got enough Bits!
