The year is 2222, and you live in a bustling city in Japan by the sea. There are many different neighborhoods, from strictly urban areas, to more traditional Japanese neighborhoods, to areas full of cafes for tired businessmen, to the rougher part of town, to the beachside properties. In general, the city seems peaceful, but lively.

The latest rage is BitPhones - a must-have for anyone. Not only do they have as many apps as you could possibly want from a smartphone, and come in all kinds of customizable shapes and sizes, but they contain things like your ID and other essential data. All BitPhones are connected by the Master Program, an essentially indecipherable program maintained by some guy living in his apartment with his shut-in cousin.

But that's probably not very important.

[Nanashi has a unicorn following him around and it would probably be easier not to question how.]

Heat, how do you do with horses?

[Nanashi definitely came to the right animal obsessed person, because he used to be super into horses when he was younger! Sure, he hasn't played with one, like ever, and usually deals with smaller pets, but he'd try to help!]

Uwoohhh! Were'd y'get that?! It's s'pretty, an' 's that'a real horn?

[A hand reaches up to stroke its mane, not even minding if his friend dodges the question or doesn't truly explain.]

[The unicorn neighs and allows Heat to pet its mane.]

We just sort of ran into each other! [Totally an answer.] And it looks real to me, I haven't tried taking it off or anything.

[Heat just kind of buries his face in the soft mane, not responding to the younger boy for a few minutes.]

That's s'cool! [He's totally buying that answer]

[Nanashi's gonna pet it because it's one of the few animals that actually will let him do that. Also: unicorn.]

So it's a real unicorn? I always thought those were myths, like fairies or actually good free MMOs!

Yeahyeah! [Probably.]

Wanna ride't?

Obviously! But I've never had lessons or anything...

[So would that be safe???]

Me neither!

[It doesn't seem to even phase Hitohito, and worries about safety are the last thing on his mind.]

[Well, if Hitohito doesn't care, then he doesn't either!]

I guess we're just gonna go for it! But how do we start??

[Heat makes a legitimate attempt to pick up the little shut in, and after some struggling (listen people are so much heavier than pets), manages to get him up on the unicorn.]

Yeahyeah! Wazzit like?

[Are you calling Nanashi fat :<]

Horses... are really big! And cool!

[They're bigger and cooler when you're on them, clearly.]

I'll help you up!

[This unicorn must have an infinite amount of patience.]

[I'm calling Heat weak.]

Yeeeee! Thanks much, Nanash!

[He raises his arms up, waiting for the other boy to help him out. Good luck, since Nanashi's also a wimp.]

[Nanashi tries his valiant best to help Heat up. He really does! And nearly falls off the unicorn in the process.]

This miiiight not work.

[Disappointing! Oh well, maybe they'd find higher ground to make it easier for Heat to get up there eventually.]

S'okay! I'll jus' stay with'ya!

But that's no fair! Maybe we can take turns?

[He might be better at pushing than pulling Heat up.]

[Eh, this was kinda sorta Enri's first time in Sweet Beach. He vaguely remembers going here when he was like, 5, but this was his first time actually looking around by himself. He didn't pay too good attention to where he was going... kinda spacing out yknow? Taking in the sights and junk.. When he realized he had literally no idea how to get to the beach he actually came here for. He walks into the first place he sees and his heart starts beating Erratically.]

[Dogs. Everywhere. There were cats and bunnies too, but. Dogs. One seemed to catch sight of him and runs over to the drummer. To Enri, it looked like it was coming to chomp off his legs, in reality, more like ask for a pet. He tries to go back out the way he came, but he bumps into one of the cafes tables and falls over, waving his arms in front to sheild himself from the dog.]

"HYAAAAAAH ST-STAY AWAYYYYY!!!"

[Heat's shift is finally over, but he's still around playing with the pretty cats, when he hears some guy screaming. Poor guy must be scared of dogs! Within moments, the bouncy boy has picked up the lil pup and moved it to another corner of the room. Should probably get this guy out of here, too!]

Up, up! 's safe, but we sh'go!

[The drummer was absolutely shivering from the dogs presence, to the point he started to think he might wet himself. Dogs are so scary... He notices the fluff leave his view as another boy had come to help and move the creature away. He was still frightened by everything around him, but slowly lowered his arms that were covering his face defensively.]

A... Ah, y-yeah... Sure...

[What was this dude saying? Enri could only make out half of it, but he said something about going, and theres no way he wants to stick around in a building full of those... terrifying balls of fluff.]

[He practically dragged the shaky stranger out of Fairytale Forest, only letting go of his arm when they were safely out.]

Y'must be a newcomer! Lots'a deep breaths, sure yoube fine!

[A good thing it was, since Enri in his current state of fear would have possibly resulted in him doing god knows what if it weren't for Hitohito. He takes heed to Heat's words and stays in place outside the building, taking deep breaths for a few seconds until he could feel his heart beat finally slow down and his head start to get clearer.]

Yeah... I'm from Break Passage. I wanted to check out the beach. Catch some rays, maybe get some zees or a nice suntan but i sorta got lost tryin to find the entrance to the beach... And then that happened. Thanks alot bro. I dunno what'd happen if you weren't there to chill me down.

[Heat has never left Sweet Beach in his entire life. Why mention something like that.]

[The guy almost had a heart attack in Fairytale Forest, and he still can't slow down. Geez.]

Ah, yeah... Break Passage's got some bad reputations... I'm not surprised you haven't been there. I think we're all on the low side though? Don't get why it's so said to be incredibly dangerous, never had anyone take any of my cups...

[He'd been to most of the cities at least once by now, with how the band liked to 'advertise' from time to time. Still no big record label knocking at their doors though. This is fine.]

[He spies a bench nearby, and though it had this weird aura about it, takes a seat.]
