The year is 2222, and you live in a bustling city in Japan by the sea. There are many different neighborhoods, from strictly urban areas, to more traditional Japanese neighborhoods, to areas full of cafes for tired businessmen, to the rougher part of town, to the beachside properties. In general, the city seems peaceful, but lively.

The latest rage is BitPhones - a must-have for anyone. Not only do they have as many apps as you could possibly want from a smartphone, and come in all kinds of customizable shapes and sizes, but they contain things like your ID and other essential data. All BitPhones are connected by the Master Program, an essentially indecipherable program maintained by some guy living in his apartment with his shut-in cousin.

But that's probably not very important.

[Nanashi bugging Izuchi is not an uncommon occurrence. Such is today, after he's been plying Izuchi with gifts as usual.]

You sure like candy cigarettes a lot.

[It's like it's one of his three favorite things, or something!]

[ Ah, so it is the irregularity, bearing gifts once more. Where he gets the funds to constantly shower him with useless items is quite the mystery. He has no time to ponder this, however, a slight frown finding its way onto his face at the question. ]

Of course not. That would be detrimental to my health.

[ And it is, admittedly, quite fragile already. ]

A genius such as myself must be careful to keep in good condition. Health of the mind and body are of the utmost import.

[That, and he'd hate to know what he'd look like without any hair. At least it would spare him comments regarding his brother.]

[Izuchi joins the fool in scavenging around the seashore, looking for acceptable specimens. He says nothing, channeling all of his concentration on finding shells and adding them to his bucket. He also makes a point not to get too close to the other, who seems to be putting in a vigorous effort.]

[After a while of searching, Hitohito goes bounding over to his friend - he doesn't have a bucket like the genius, so hes just sort of carrying a bunch in his arms.]

[Izuchi looks up from his search and quirks a brow at the other's harvest. At least this commoner is useful for something. But drop those and you will have sealed yourself an early death.]

[There's no time to sort out the desirable ones since he only brought one bucket. He'll have to do it himself at home, he supposes.]

Hey, Izuchi... I've been wondering this for awhile but... Do you get sick a lot? You seem to really like getting Cold Medicine... Is there anything else I can do to help other than giving you medicine?

[Like, maybe if Izuchi could transfer peoples (and dogs) subconsciousness' with each other, they could trade their immune systems with each other? Nanashi's weak physically, but he never seems to get sick, so that's a plus. It'd be better if possible for Nanashi to be the one getting colds in place of Izuchi....]

I simply like to be prepared. That is all.

[His immune system is a weakness, and not one he'd prefer this commoner to know about, irregularity or not. Besides, it's not exactly something he can remedy. Genetics could be fickle in the distribution of traits despite advanced technology.]

For one, you could practice good hygiene before approaching me.

Oh! Thats nice! Being prepared for anything... You're so sensible Izuchi~ I should start bringing sunscreen with me whenever I go to the beach to be prepared too! I come home so much with sunburns all over me!

[Nanashi tilts his head at the hygiene comment, and sniffs at his hand. He made sure to take a shower and wash his clothes today! For once...]

Are you... talking about my hair?

[He doesn't think anything is wrong with the commoner's hair... is it the coloration? It looks bleached, though natural hair could be anywhere on the spectrum these days. He is living proof of that.]

Your hair? What about it? Do you have lice?

[If that's the case, Izuchi is ready to leave at a moment's notice.]

[nanaseyoshi]

Eh?! Oh, no I don't have lice! I haven't had lice since the sixth grade!

[Way to be informative in ways you don't exactly need to be, Nanashi. He rustles through his hair for a moment, making his hair appear even more of a bedheaded mess it already has been.]

Well, I mean... my hair is kind of messy isn't it? Misane keeps telling me to brush it, but I like the natural look of getting fresh out of bed, ready to tackle another day of laying in bed and eating Pretzel sticks! What do you think?

[He raises a brow skeptically. The unnecessary information doesn't make him feel any better.]

It is indeed disorderly, but as long as it is cleanly I see no reason to expend extra effort brushing it.

[Translation: Izuchi doesn't have any room to talk, as he shares similar bedhead woes. It has even fixated itself into an odd swirl on his head. It would end up like this each time without fail, so why take the time to comb it when there is research to be had? Though the idea of pretzel bits being stuck in this commoner's hair makes him frown a bit.]

By the way! I've always been curious about you and Kirai's hair! Do you dye it? Or is the multicolor hair natural? I like it! I wish I could have multicolor hair.. maybe some pink streaks... Oh but then i'd look too similar to Natsukage..
