Lapis just stares at him for a moment, before proceeding to turn bright red. Then she notices how red she's turned and shifts to hide her face against her pillow, though it's obvious by how red her ears are that she's still blushing.]

[Even though he can't see it, Lapis is pouting so much right now.

So there's the faint sound of her whining for a moment, before she peeks up at him, now making it obvious that she's pouting.]

[Cue her burying her face into her pillow again, huffing another pouty sigh into it. The she shifts to sit up, holding her pillow to her chest as she fixes him with a firm look - except it loses all impact with how red she is and how her clothes and hair are a bit disheveled.]

... Then it's not a joke, then? The whole... going on a date thing? [Because even if he's her friend, he's still an asshole.]

[Oh, definitely an asshole. He'd be a pathetic liar if he tried to deny it.

Maybe the assholery is why he reaches out to ruffle her hair.]

[A soft sound escapes her when he ruffles her hair, and it almost sounds like a whine as she looks up at him. But since he's serious, she glances away for a moment, thinking about it.

Cue her turning even more red as she hesitantly nods after a good few seconds.]
