...Is it nice? Being older. I know it's different, but I'm not sure if I should be scared of becoming an old maid or scared of still being treated like a child.

It certainly gives you a different perspective on events than you had when you were young. It's nice, I'd say.

I guess it's different when you live for hundreds of years, anyway.

We don't die of old age for a long, long time, if ever.

I'm just scared, mostly. About whether I'm losing something I could have done with myself, after spending all that time waiting to grow up because I might be able to be happy if I could do things I couldn't when I was younger.

There's plenty to do while you're young. You don't need to be in a hurry to get old.

Well, I guess I'm old enough now, if there were still anything to be old enough for. It's just sort of a confusing, scary thing.
