What are relationships like there, normally?

That's a bit difficult to answer. Most everyone in the Sea Kingdom is a sea creature--but considering how many species exist within the sea we all have our different instincts and customs. And as we are all aware of that I suppose you can say things could go any which way.

[She doesn't really feel like she is giving a particularly good explanation, and she's a little red in the face as she does so. Truth is aside from what she has already stated, she hadn't really paid attention to that sort of thing much before she left the sea.]

There are many who don't really enter relationships but still mate for the purposes of reproduction. Some who maintain purely romantic relationships with no mating. Some keep to one partner, some keep to many. Some keep within their own species, some get together with others. My parents for example...my father is a shrimp who has the ability to transform such as myself. My mother is a lobster, but she does not possess that ability. They've been together for a very long time.

People in my world are a little like that. We don't care much about things like gender, and because angels and demons don't hate each other like in most places, lots of couples are an angel and a demon. And there's plenty who are in relationships of more than two people.

Another Devil I know, he's not in the castle as a man, has a husband and a lover.

Well, that's how it should be, right? As long as everyone is happy and aware and consenting. I was always so surprised when I found a place that had stigmas about the way people loved.
