[What Diarmuid needed in his life was fireworks. What a coincidence. It happened to be New Year's Eve, and Issei happened to have brought Diarmuid out to the front of the temple to sit down.]

If I recall, we didn't have a holiday specifically reserved for the new year. Samhain was somewhat close, but that was back in October.

Hm, all right. We have a few celebrations for the new year here, and if I'm not mistaken it should be about... now.
