THE THESE ARE MY CONFESSIONS MEME

Does your character have a deep dark secret that they don't want out? Well, too bad. Something has just forced your characters to reveal their inner most secrets, true identities and even elements of their own past that they've tried to forget. What shouldn't be known is suddenly known. What shouldn't be said is suddenly exclaimed.

Of course, not every secret has to be deep and dark.  Some may get into TMI territory, or just be plain embarrassing.  Up to you how serious your confessions are.

No one can lie in a thread, you lack the capacity to. All confessions are truthful and sincere. It's uncontrollable what you say to a person.

...how do you. How do you get over someone?

Meet new people, generally. Live your life and try not to focus on people you can't have or are bad for you. You don't necessarily have to avoid seeing them, but don't let your life revolve around them.

Hmm. [Her antennas droop. It was sound advice, but it still saddened her to hear it. She just really shouldn't have allowed herself to develop feelings for Kcalb to begin with but then did she really have any control over that? No. No one did.]

Would you mind telling me a little more about them? Just to get it off your chest.

Um. [A deep blush suffuses her cheeks, but she smiles softly.]

Her name is Kcalb. She's. She's the Devil with the really long white hair around the castle. We first properly met in the kitchens. She found a cat all by itself in the castle. We name it Pitch and decided to take care of it together. We talked for a long time about...stuff on our minds.

Since then I always visit her in her room. She's really, really a kind person. She cares a lot about everyone in the castle, and is doing her best to always help in anyway she can.

[Lobco's smile grew bigger, almost silly and she could feel butterflies in her stomach.]

She's really strong. I admire her a lot. Yet despite being so strong I never feel little around her. I feel like I can depend on her for anything. I feel at ease with her in a way I don't with a lot of people--the way I do with you, mom and Aom. I don't feel like I need to deliberate over everything I say. I don't get the way I usually do where...where I just fixate so much on all the many ways my words could be misinterpreted. I'm. Comfortable.

[And her shoulders hunched a little, blush increasing.]

I think she's really, really, really pretty.

[Silence stretched for a moment before her entire body sagged.]



I think I like her even more than I had previously thought.

It certainly sounds that way. I haven't spoken to her, but I'm glad you have someone else here you can be comfortable around.

In my experience, feelings like that become less intense when you give them time. You'll be able to keep your friendship. So don't worry about that part.

[He would hate for her to lose one of her dear friends.]

Did you ever have any strong feelings for someone before you met mom?

For a few people. Either it didn't work out between us, or something else happened to end the relationship.

[At least one of them died.]

What was it like the first time for you?

Overwhelming. I wanted to spend all my time with that person and I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I thought she was the one just because she was the first.
