[Even if it did take a long time, Suga and Lapis did eventually reach the most intimate part of their relationship. Though it was still a bit embarrassing at times, possibly more so with Suga thanks to how unapologetic blunt Lapis tended to be.

Which is why this morning, Lapis wakes up from where she had been using Suga as a pillow, grumbling quietly as the sun shines in before bringing the blanket over her head. Since the spirits were scared of Suga, Lapis had been sleeping much better, which also meant she was going to sleep for as long as she possibly can.]

[It was certainly embarrassing for Suga to reach this stage, but times like this, where he woke to Lapis using him as a pillow, were precious to him, and he would never think of complaining.

Gently, he reached to stroke the blanket on top of her, not wanting to disturb her too much.]

[Feeling how he strokes the blanket on top of her causes her to relax, yawning quietly as she peeks over at him. She still felt half asleep, and so he'll probably just see a pair of sleepy gold eyes from under the blanket.]
