The past is represented by the Six of Wands. The Six of Wands is a card of pride, triumph, your own acclaim. You are good at what you do, and you know it.

The present is represented by the Queen of Pentacles. The Queen is a person you know, yourself, or simply an energy that pervades a situation. She is a nurturing person who cares for others and gives of herself when others are in need; she is practical, without pretension, and trustworthy. All Queens are positive people to be around.

You are helped by the Wheel of Fortune. Events change quickly and the situation is not under your control. There is a grand scheme of things, and in this position that scheme will end up in your favor. The good things you do reward you.

You are hurt by the Six of Pentacles. Two sixes in a reading indicate a theme of growth. The six is a dual card in that it represents both having and not having resources, power, and knowledge; in the case of relationships, it indicates that treating every person you meet identically is the wrong path. Every person is unique, and your relationships with them should be unique as well.

... Yeah, that's fine. [She'll just be taking the cards and shuffling them, handing them back again,] I'm thinking of asking for certain individuals help with something, though things have been very, very difficult with them. How would it go if I asked them at a later date?
