I thought for a while, "She's just like all the others, the fangirls who only care that a person acts perfect." But she actually cared about what I wanted. And then I decided, "Okay, there's only one good human." But because there was one, and because she cared about so many others, I started to wonder if maybe more of them were worth it.

It's hard. You might think only you can know what you're feeling and that you can't trust anyone. There are good patches out there.
