Tarot post mark 3.
It has been quite a while since I've done this. Would anyone like a Tarot reading?
[A deck is on the table in front of her.]
Simply focus on your question while shuffling the deck, and inform me of your question when you return the deck to me. Then I can read your fortune.
[Any game, any character will be read with a real shuffling of a real Tarot deck!]

Your past is shown by the Seven of Wands. Aggression, conviction, defiance. There are those who have meant to harm you and you have withstood them.
Your present - the King of Pentacles. This is a man who undertakes a venture and continues it to the successful conclusion - reliable, steady, and practical. Your brother failing is not your fear - rather it is that he goes too far.
You will be helped by the Hermit, and hurt by the Three of Wands. The Hermit is a card of introspection, looking for understanding, and seeking solitude. The Three of Wands explores outward, leaves the secure behind and is a card of plans for far ahead.
Those around you are shown by the Seven of Cups. Wishful thinking. Caught up in illusions, they do not see the truth of the matter and the state of the world before them. They fall into dissipation and become disorganized.
Your actions must reflect the Two of Cups. This card stands for connection, a bond forged or reforged between two people.
The results: the World. A positive card of synergy, and one's efforts going to accomplish something good.
Your brother, he does too much without understanding what it is you really want, yes? You may need to ground him and make him realize that he is spending his energy on achieving something you don't want to happen. Turn his focus on the two of you instead of the outside world.
I wish you the best of luck in this.

[A brief pause.] Would you mind doing another reading for me?

I would like that, thank you. I'm to be married next year... I would like to know if it will end well.

The first card, the Three of Pentacles, stands for teamwork and planning. In the case of a marriage, this is a good card to receive, as all marriages are about working together.
The second card, the King of Wands, is a man who is not necessarily practical but creative, enthusiastic, takes on new projects and ideas. This could be your husband, but not having met the man I can only guess at his identity.
The third card is Death. Please do not panic; Death is rarely a card of physical death. It simply means that your old life is ending, and you are going through a transition. Your married life will be much different from your life now; that is something that can't be avoided.
