I actually came to remind you that you're late for dinner. I can bring it up here if you're too busy. Otherwise it'll probably get eaten.

[She chuckles quietly, though the mention of food instantly gets her attention.]

O-oh, I lost track of time! I'm not too busy, so I can go get it! [Nobody is getting her food if she can help it.]

Yes, I can- [Attempts to stand up, wires wrapped around legs force her back down. And she can feel her face turn red a bit.] ... G-g-give me a minute to untangle myself.

I'd pull you out, but I don't want to break your wires. Guess you're stuck there! And we made your favourite dessert especially.

Whaaaa- I-I will get out in a minute! I just need to... [And it seems like her leg brace decided to try to become one with the wires. And she pouts even more at it as she tries to remove them without breaking them.]

Welp, there is clearly only one solution! He picks her up, wires, frame and all, and flies.]

So she'll squeak in surprise and just cling the frame to her chest so that she doesn't drop it.]

[It's not far, especially for birds. They do get a few odd looks, though, but by now the hawks are used to seeing odd things. How do beorcs work, really? He sets her down as gently as can be once they arrive.]

[She's a bit shaky on her feet for a second, but she quickly rights herself, now managing to shake a few wires off her.]

... W-well, I don't mind you carrying me like before, I just wasn't expecting the sudden lift.

[She laughs sheepishly.]

... Very true. And it was a good idea, since I always lose the arguments anyway.

[She scratches the back of her neck, before glancing around.]

... Soooo, dinner?

You give it a good fight, though.

[Just gonna go set her on a chair in front of the metric ton of food laid out for them. It's mostly all meat and fruit, with some very ornate desserts, but there is a ridiculous amount.]

Help yourself.

Ehe, I try.

[And she just blinks at all the food, suddenly becoming hesitant. She's still a bit too used to living off of only what she could catch herself, so this much food is a bit of a shock.]

... R-really?

What you don't eat will get eaten by others.

Most of the hawk tribe are pretty big eaters, and we're pretty good hunters, too. And since we can reach places no humans can, we don't have a whole lot of competition for food.

Mmm, o-okay...

[After another second of hesitating, she'll start to help herself. She's still a bit nervous about it, as if she'll be told off or something, but she's already starting to eat quite a bit for someone of her stature.]

[He watches her, approving as she starts to eat more. Much better. That hesitance was cute, but worrying. He didn't want her to starve after all.]

There we are.

[...just gonna start eating too. Manners he has, but not hesitance.]

[April has lived off very little before, though it's not something she would mention. But soon her hesitance wears off when he starts eating too, and after a while she isn't so nervous about it.

And she eventually starts to slow down, leaning back in her chair a bit.] ... Mm, I think I ate too much.

[And she did eat a lot.]

I guess Ike's appetite is rare amongst beorc.

[His tone is relentlessly teasing. Even if she ate a lot by human standards, it was probably nowhere near the amount he ate.

Laguz burn through energy fast, after all.]

[She stretches lazily, before blinking over at him and then giving him a small smile.]

Yeah, I'm fine. I just need to pace myself a bit better, I think.

Sounds like a plan. Nobody's going to take it away from you if you don't eat it quickly enough. Not here.

[Her expression turns sheepish as she gives a small laugh.]

Good to know... I guess old habits die hard, but I'll try to get better about it.
