Nepeta's food reserves were running low, and winter was coming soon. It was time to stock up again, and bring in an especially large batch of prey for the season. She could handle it on her own, but it was fun to hunt together in pairs. Spending any time with her friends was fun!

Sora wasn't used to using his blades on anything but data, of getting meat from anywhere but the store all wrapped in plastic. If he had to take down an animal, though, he was glad to have someone nearer his own age to help him out. Not that he'd be broadcasting his nervousness. He could just slice some necks and let her handle it.

"Sure, sure. They can't be any harder than the monsters I've fought."

With a grin, she started to lead him outside her hive, towards where the game would be waiting.

The alien planet was weird, but at least the inhabitants weren't too different or dangerous. Some of them were even cool, like Nepeta! Honestly it's like living out every kid's dream, to live in the wilderness. He wasn't gonna back down from such a challenge.

"Don't worry about me! Lead the way~"

It didn't take too long for them to come across a wild musclebeast. Equius would have hated them taking down such a magnificent creature, but they had to eat somehow.
