You're in a Shin Megami Tensei game! Humans, angels and demons coexist with varying degrees of violence from all sides. Gods and other powerful beings exist and seek to further their own ends while normal humans are caught in the middle of their plots. And who exactly is in the right here, anyway...?

This is a free-for-all tagging post. If you're already playing a Megaten character, great! If your character is from a different canon, may we suggest one of the following options?

1. Demon summoner. Your character makes contracts with 'demons' (all supernatural creatures, good, bad, angelic, fey, or animated cars, are technically demons) and fights alongside them. Whether you're working to change the world or just trying to survive in a harsh environment, you'll need to rely on your demons in order to get by.

2. Demon. You're a supernatural being of some kind. You might be on the side of the angels or a creature from the pits of the underworld, and your goals might differ accordingly. You might be still on your own devices or in a contract with a worthy summoner already.

3. Persona user. Your 'Persona' is a part of your own spirit that you use to fight. You can't use more than one at a time, and your origins are likely to be more mundane than the apocalyptic lands of the demon summoners.

4. Atma. You turn into your Atma Avatar form, bearing a close resemblance to the demons of other games. You eat your enemies to survive. Not for the faint of stomach.

5. Other. What if the world was made of glazed donuts? SMT would still make it depressing.

April just stares at him shock for a few moments.]

... You... want to make a contract with me?

I said so, didn't I?

[Welp. This is a change.]

But, um, why? I-I mean, I would be happy to make a contract with you, b-but I don't tend to get, um, asked for one...

You were kind to me and my brother when you had no reason to be, and I want to repay you.

[technologic]

Ah, you don't have to repay me, really. I just like helping others out.

[myhorseisamazing]

You're also intelligent and strong. If you have no further objections, I'll join you.

B-b-but- [She sighs quietly, deciding that arguing with him about this would probably go nowhere. But hey, if he joins her as she travels around, then he might find a demon summoner he likes better. So, she slowly nods.]

... O-okay, if that's what you want to do.

[myhorseisamazing]

Then the contract is sealed.

[He comes off of his horse, kneels in front of her, and lightly kisses her hand.]

[technologic]

[And this is when her face goes bright red.] ... E-e-e-eh?

[myhorseisamazing]

[Straightens.] When I was younger you had to do something to seal the contract. Words alone wouldn't do it.

[technologic]

O-oh... Y-you didn't have to d-do that, though. [Yep still flustered.]

[ridesducks]

Berith, what are you doing with that lady?

[Guess who snuck up on you two.]

[technologic]

April squeaks in surprise, before turning to glance at who just snuck up behind them.]

... A-ah, well, there's your brother, Berith.

[And her electricity dog is following right behind him, who soon goes to take a seat by his creators feet.]

Phegor! I told you not to run off like that, you had me worried sick-!

[Little brother gets a hug.]

Don't do that again.

[technologic]

[A blink, before she smiles faintly.] Well, luckily he's safe.

[ridesducks]

Big brother Berith, did you get a girlfriend already while I was gone?

[technologic]

[... Annnnd cue her getting flustered again.] W-w-w-what?! I-I'm not- we're not- N-n-no!

[Ohgod if her demons saw this they would be laughing so much.]

[myhorseisamazing]

We made a contract! She's my summoner!

[Cue 'oooooooh' from Phegor. Berith bops him over the head lightly, still blushing.]

[technologic]

[Okay, she quickly forces herself to stop blushing and clears her throat.] ... W-well, anyway, I'm April. It's, um, nice to meet you, Phegor.

[ridesducks]

You're not going to be mean to my brother, are you?

[Suspicious look.]

[technologic]

Huh? N-no, I promise I won't be mean to him!

[ridesducks]

...Okay, you can pass.

[technologic]

[She gives a quiet sigh of relief and a small smile.] Okay. T-thank you, Phegor.

[myhorseisamazing]

Where are we headed to, April?

[technologic]

... There's someone I'm looking for, so we're gonna be trying to find him. Last I heard he had set a camp a few miles away from the town, so we'll be heading there.
