I don't even understand what just happened. I want to go after her, but... I know that's probably a bad idea. And what about you, are you okay?

It might be wise to give Lady Ayumu some time to calm down.

I should be asking you that, my lady.

I don't know. I don't get it.

[She deflates a little.]

I knew she was acting weird today, but I've been so wrapped up in preparing for our next live. And why would she ask me something like that? Why would anyone?

...Forgive my bluntness, but she is romantically interested in you.

Wait. Really? I mean, I know what it looks like, but that's just normal -- I mean, everybody else is -- and we've known each other the longest out of any of us, why wouldn't I know?

[She leans against Chiyome a little and shakes her head, digging out her phone.]

I'll ask Setsuna-chan to go find her. She should be finishing up some things in the student council office. All I can really do is stay here with you... I guess I don't understand my friends that well. I don't know why they think highly of me if I do things like this.

You are a wonderful person with many fine qualities. Anyone would be lucky to be your girlfriend.

[Even if those fine qualities don't include observation skills, Yuu is still The Best.]

[Yuu pulls gently away and slumps onto the nearest couch.]

You're just saying that because I'm your Master. I summoned you by accident and threw you into something you weren't prepared for, and you've still had nothing but praise for me. You deserve better.

[Maybe if she uses first names she'll understand!!]

[She gasps and sits up with a start. Hesitantly, looking up at Chiyome from the couch, she offers:]

Are you sure, Chiyome-chan? I mean, you say that, but I don't want to drag you down. I don't want to drag the club down either, but it's even more important with you because you're here at all thanks to me.

[sninja]

I am completely certain.

[She takes a seat next to Yuu, leaning into her a little.]

Even if you were not my Master, you would be very important to me.

[She smiles a little shakily and leans in return.]

Do you really think so? I've been worried I was just disappointing you.

[sninja]

You could never. Your kindness and passion make you a joy to all who know you, Yuu.

To tell you the truth... I didn't really have a passion for anything before we revived the School Idol Club. Before I found school idols, I was just going through the motions. But Ayumu-chan and I saw a performance and we both found something that we really wanted to do. Something more important than just trying to grow up and be successful, whatever that means. And then we found the others -- everyone else who felt the same way we do.

What about you? I kind of dragged you into this... into everything. Are you okay with it?

[sninja]

My passion is helping you. I am honored to do that in whatever way I can.

[She almost protests. That can't be right, she's just saying that because she's a Servant, she needs to do her own thing...

But isn't this exactly what Yuu says? How she feels? How she wants to support the others however she can?

She rests her head against Chiyome's, moves her hand around until she can find Chiyome's to nervously hold.]

Are you sure?

[sninja]

[Chiyome squeezes Yuu's hand in return, a point of reassurance.]

I swear to you. I care for you very much.

[Maybe later she'll think about her wording of that and start to examine her own feelings, but right now she just wants Yuu to be certain that Chiyome is happy with her.]

[Okay. Yuu catches her breath, tries to relax. This is all she can do. She's texted Setsuna about Ayumu with her free hand; after a moment of thought, she forwards it to a few of the other girls just in case. There's nothing else she can do this time. Just stay here with the girl who accidentally became her Servant.]

Thank you. You're always here for me. I just hope I can be that kind of person, too.

You already are. That's why everyone relies on your support, Yuu-san.

[Everyone loves her, and for good reason.]

[She smiles, not even realizing her face is red.]

That means a lot to me. Thanks. I'll keep doing everything I can for all of you.

[She gives Yuu's hand another squeeze, a tiny bit red-faced.]
