[Oda was not coming back to his version of Earth. He'd been very firm about that. There were people who would notice a supposedly dead person popping up, no matter how brief a visit.
He'd already gotten too much of Mori's notice.
He wouldn't go back, but Zombina would (and either passed well enough for human that it wasn't a big deal or just didn't tell him about the staring), and she often did show up to check that Dazai was still alive, and to leave messages for Dazai and Ango. Updates on his life. Invitations to come over and see the kids.
(Not invitations for both of them at once. Oda wanted a peaceful visit.)
And that's how Ango's here, in this cozy house. Outside, monsters of all shapes and sizes mingle and go about their day; inside, a small human boy answers the door when Ango knocks.]
Odasaku, your friend's here! [Kousuke yells it back into the house, and Oda pops out of the kitchen, wearing an apron that says 'Kiss the Cook'.]
Thank you, Kousuke. Let him in, I'll be there in a second.
For Ango.

[Kousuke will stop blocking the doorway now.]
