[The last job was a really bad one.

What was meant to be a simple banishment ended with them being trapped inside a decrepit old building with a hoard of murderous spirits. She did eventually manage to banish all the spirits but it was a long and tiring process. As well as painful.

Since now Lapis is sitting in her bed and adjusting one of her bandages before glancing over at D; Peter and Mitchell were away explaining what happened to her sister.] ... Are you all right?

[D's not hurt nearly as bad as Lapis, but it wasn't much fun for him either. Or for anybody, except maybe the hoard of murderous spirits.]

I'm... durable. [Though one arm is covered in cuts and then there's all her bruises and cuts everywhere else. Didn't help a ghost bit at her shoulder at one point too.] ... I can understand if you don't want to stay with me anymore, after that. Jobs can get as bad or worse than that...

... [She just hums quietly to herself, staring at the blankets for a good few moments.] ... But I'm scary, aren't I?
