[She normally doesn't make house calls but...well. In her heart, she's a kind soul. So she packed up several things she might need in a bag (medicines, bandages, syringes, several scalpels, anesthesia and such). The fact that it might have been a trap doesn't cross her mind.
Aya knocks on the door.]
Mister Uryuu? It's Doctor Drevis. [She speaks slowly, her Japanese isn't that good but well. If this man called for a doctor who is she to deny her help?]
[Ryuunosuke sounds weak - he's decent at pretending to be sick. It's his terrible work ethic, he often calls out from his various jobs to go off and murder instead.]
[The apartment's small and slightly messy. It smells of Febreeze trying to clear up something else and not quite having gotten all of it, but it's hard to tell what 'something else' is.]
There's a very distinct pause, a twisting of her insides that she instantly swallows. She's seen worse. Her father had his own interests... but was more worrisome? That the man wasn't around and that she's alone. So she reaches into her bag, drawing out a scalpel.]
[She hears the movement of him moving from out behind the door. Her instincts kick in as she rapidly turns around as she steps away from the doorway. The gore's going to mess up her clothing but she doesn't care. After all, she still has her scalpel.]
[Ryuunosuke's not good at prolonged fights; he's a serial killer, not a warrior. The leopard strikes its prey quickly and efficiently finishes them off.
He swipes again, trying not to give her any time to recover.]
Thank God. [He sighs and crouches to make sure he severed something vital.] I'm stealing some of your painkillers if you have any in your bag. Any doctor should, right?
Ryuunosuke!
Aya knocks on the door.]

[Sure enough, he does sound weak--from what? Her curiosity and work ethic makes her want to find out. So she enters the apartment.]

Haven't gotten out of bed in a while...

Is it that bad, then?
[Walking in to find where he is.]

Possibly more worrisome is that Ryuunosuke can't immediately be seen...]

It seems you were right in calling me.

[Ryuunosuke pulls out a knife from his belt.]
You really shouldn't do house calls for just anybody, you know.

[She's already scoping out the room... In a clean fight it's obvious he'd win. The scalpel wouldn't stand a chance against that knife. Aya knows that.
But she does have tricks in her bag. If she could get the knife out of his hands then she could go for the tranquilizer in her bag.]
Ironic that both of us had death on our minds.
