You're in a Shin Megami Tensei game! Humans, angels and demons coexist with varying degrees of violence from all sides. Gods and other powerful beings exist and seek to further their own ends while normal humans are caught in the middle of their plots. And who exactly is in the right here, anyway...?

This is a free-for-all tagging post. If you're already playing a Megaten character, great! If your character is from a different canon, may we suggest one of the following options?

1. Demon summoner. Your character makes contracts with 'demons' (all supernatural creatures, good, bad, angelic, fey, or animated cars, are technically demons) and fights alongside them. Whether you're working to change the world or just trying to survive in a harsh environment, you'll need to rely on your demons in order to get by.

2. Demon. You're a supernatural being of some kind. You might be on the side of the angels or a creature from the pits of the underworld, and your goals might differ accordingly. You might be still on your own devices or in a contract with a worthy summoner already.

3. Persona user. Your 'Persona' is a part of your own spirit that you use to fight. You can't use more than one at a time, and your origins are likely to be more mundane than the apocalyptic lands of the demon summoners.

4. Atma. You turn into your Atma Avatar form, bearing a close resemblance to the demons of other games. You eat your enemies to survive. Not for the faint of stomach.

5. Other. What if the world was made of glazed donuts? SMT would still make it depressing.
